The Holy Qur’an included in many of its surahs and verses a beautiful description of the creation of the universe, its evolution, its characteristics, and the divine laws that govern its course and destiny. Then modern science came and proved the validity of these laws…, For example, the Holy Qur’an stated in an explicit and clear verse that the universe is in a state of expansion… God Almighty says: {And the sky We built it with hands, and we are expanding} (Al-Dhariyat: 47).
For more than one thousand and three hundred years after the revelation of the Qur’anic verses that emphasize the expansion of the universe, mankind believed that the universe is of a closed nature. and not expandable, But this belief began to change after the American scientist Edwin Hubble performed his famous experiment in which he set up a large telescope (100 inches) on a mountain near Los Angeles in America in 1929 AD. Through this experiment, this great scientist was able to discover and prove the constant distance of galaxies from each other. which confirms the expansion of the universe, He thus ended ages of wrong thinking. With this great achievement, he brought back the deniers of this universal truth, “including Albert Einstein,” to the circle of correct thought. And I find that it is the right of this great scholar for Muslims to give him thanks and praise for this achievement, which proved the validity of one of the major cosmic miracles of the Qur’an.
